ডিঙ্গি নৌকা !

নৌকাটির নাম ডিঙ্গি নৌকা।
কাঠের কিছু তক্তাকে  লোহাড় শলকা দিয়ে জোড়া লাগিয়ে ডিঙ্গি নৌকা তৈরী করা হয়।
ডিঙ্গি নৌকা আকৃতিতে ছোট ।
ডিঙ্গি নৌকার সুবিধা হলো এই যে,নৌকাটি গভীর  এবং অগভীর পানিতে সহজেই চলাচল করতে পারে।
পূর্বে স্বল্প দূরত্ব পাড়ি দেয়ার জন্য গ্রামের গৃহস্থরা এই ডিঙ্গি নৌকা ব্যবহার করতো।
বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের অনেক নদী নালা খাল বিল পলি মাটি দ্বারা ভরাট হয়ে গিয়েছে।
পাশাপাশি সড়ক যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থার উন্নতি হয়েছে,তাই তাই গৃহস্থদের এই ডিঙ্গি নৌকার  প্রয়োজনীয়তা  ফুরিয়ে গিয়েছে।
বর্তমানে ডিঙ্গি নৌকা জেলেরা ব্যবহার করেন।
জলাশয়ে পেতে রাখা জাল হতে ডিঙ্গি নৌকা দিয়ে মাছ সংগ্রহ করেন জেলেরা।
ডিঙ্গি নৌকায় কোন ইঞ্জিন থাকে না।
নৌকার ইঞ্জিনের প্রপেলার জেলেদের পেতে রাখা জাল ছিড়ে ফেলে।
এজন্য জেলেদের ডিঙ্গি নৌকায় ইঞ্জিন লাগানো হয় না।
একজন মাঝি একটি বৈঠা দ্বারা ডিঙ্গি নৌকা নিয়ন্ত্রণ করেন এবং পরিচলনা করেন।
তিন চার জন লোক ডিঙ্গি নৌকায় সওয়ার হতে পারেন।
