The new village, a concrete road and Hijal-karaca garden

The new village extends.
Hijal-tree are on the right side of the road.
Hijal karaca peculiarity is that the plant,
The tree sink down in the water is 6 months long, but survived.
The lower zone is flooded with water in the rainy season.
And this Hijal-karaca tree is visible on the water.
Then it indicates that there is crops field r under the water.
The tree was cut down over the bill,

If more fish in the river bill.

It was more than the fish could benefit from lease recipient of the Bill.
Before the low ground, were seen many Hijal- karaca garden.
Now, because of the people cut down Hijala karaca trees of the garden is reduced.

নতুন গ্রাম,কংক্রিটের রাস্তা আর হিজল-করচ বাগান

 এন জি ও কর্তৃক  কংক্রিটের ব্লক দিয়ে তৈরী করা রাস্তা্।
রাস্তা শেষ হয়েছে সবুজ মাঠে।
দূরে বর্ধিত নতুন গ্রাম।
রাস্তার ডান দিকে হিজল-করচ গাছ।
হিজল করচ গাছের বিশেষত্ব হলো এই যে ,
দীর্ঘ ৬ মাস পানির নিচে ডুবে থাকলেও বেঁচে থাকে এই গাছ।
বর্ষার পানিতে বাংলাদেশের নিম্ন অঞ্চল প্লাবিত হয়।
তখন এই হিজল-করচ গাছ গুলো পানির উপর দৃশ্যমান থাকে।
তা দেখে বুঝা যায় পানির নীচে ফসলের মাঠ আছে।
এই গাছের ডালপালা কেটে নদী বিলে ফেলা হয়,
যাতে নদী বিলে বেশী মাছ থাকে।
এতে বেশী মাছ পাওয়ায় লাভবান হন বিল-নদীর লীজ গ্রহীতা।

আগে ভাটী অঞ্চলে অনেক হিজল করচ বাগান দেখা যেতো ।
এখন মানুষ  গাছগুলো কেটে ফেলার কারণে হিজল- করচ গাছের বাগান কমে যাচ্ছে।
